YEA, so the back story to all of that is that I'm taking a summer course at UBC with one of my favorite profs of all time. One would think that sitting in class for 3 hours from 9:30 am listening to the prof try to tackle the ever so simple history and causes of TERRORISM might be a breeze, but surprisingly, it is not, specially when you have only 3 weeks to cram all that info into your head.
The ill-guided reason for taking this class is that I ADORE THIS PROF!! but not in THAT way, ppl, I swear! the way I go on and on about him and how much I love him and how he recognizes me from a 300 ppl class and how he always asks about my life and calls my house to answer my questions MIGHT give ppl that impression, but he does that to everybody, and it just adds to the awesomeness that is his intellect. The dude is old and married, ok? not very attractive and kinda too hyper for his own good, so NO, HE ISNT A PILF.
And so, the only thing that is keeping reading yet another shit ass book on Osama bin Laden (though I'm not getting very far) is that the last thing I want to do is disappoint this prof with a shitty effort of just passing the class, cause he's stood up for me too many times with tearjerking recommendation letters and praise to indifferent faculty members. Ah, the intricacies of human motivation...

I'll be sleeping here
Among the cotton candy
Beneath the stars
Beyond the sadness
